Sitara (सितारा) - Indian restaurant

Sitara ternyata dalam bahasa Hindi berarti bintang. Nama yang cocok mengingat sebelum adanya Golden Safron, tempat inilah satu-satunya resto India yang saya tahu di Surabaya yang, jadilah dia bintang.

Sitara for some time was the only Indian Restaurant that you can find in Surabaya. Recently there are other addition such as Golden Safron in Lenmarc Mall. The name is quite fitting, Sitara means star in Hindi language, and for some time, they were one of a kind in Surabaya, which make them a star in Surabaya food scene.

Lokasi Restonya ada di Jalan Hayam Wuruk, satu lokasi dengan lapangan golf Brawijaya.

Ancer-ancernya dari Sutos, tapi bukan yang Adityawarman, dari jalan yang pintu masuk lamanya di Hayam Wuruk, lurus saja sekitar 5 menit dengan mobil hingga bertemu papan nama Sitara / Golf Brawijaya.

The location is in jalan Hayam Wuruk, the restaurant is in one building with Brawijaya golf range.

From Surabaya Town Square mall, just head on along the side of the mall, the one in Jalan Hayam Wuruk, just go straight ahead until you find a signage of the restaurant / golf range.

Sebetulnya desain restonya cukup nyaman, sayang AC nya tidak beres.

Di tempat ini saya dan teman sempat kepanasan padahal saat itu sedang hujan. Berhubung udara luar dingin dan di dalam panas banget, hasilnya beberapa orang masuk angin. Parkirnya saat itu juga kebetulan agak jauh dari lokasi resto karena sedang ramai.

The design of the restaurant is actually quite nice, too bad the AC gone bust on our visit.

Our group table wasn't comfortable, hot and humid though outside was raining at the time. Since there are contrast temperature difference between inside and outside the restaurant, and it took a while to get to the car, some of us got cold from it.
