The
Capri ini adalah salah satu resto Itali dengan rasa yang otentik dan harga yang
ekonomis. Berhubung co blogger saya penggemar masakan barat, jadi kita mampir
ke resto satu ini yang lokasinya di area depan PTC, Oasis.
Capri is an
Italian restaurant in western Surabaya area, the cooking is quite genuine,
which is a departure from the fast food style italian restaurant chain that
just make something resembling a pasta and pizza dish.

Makanannya
di sini lumayan enak, seperti yang sudah saya tulis di atas. Suasananya juga ok, cocok untuk
sekedar hang out atau romantic date. Di lantai duanya ada area terbuka tempat
menikmati minuman ditemani live music. Mirip dengan konsepnya Kirkos
- Ciputra World.
Pelayanannya
biasa saja, terutama untuk ukuran resto italia, berbeda dengan yang biasa kita
temui di resto sejenis seperti Casa
Fontana dan Isola
As I
mention before, the food is quite good, with an ambiance that suits it. On the
above floor they have an outdoor seating area where you can listen to live
music, similar to what you'll find in Kirkos
- Ciputra World
Service is
so-so, nothing really makes you felt welcomed or such, a bit unusual
considering the usual top notch service you'd get from similar Italian eateries
such as Casa Fontana and the superb Isola.

Saat
saya ke Oasis, lumayan banyak resto yang tutup (hari Minggu), entah permanen
atau sementara. Salah satu yang cukup disayangkan adalah Spago amici, yang
sebetulnya lumayan ok. Sepertinya saat ini sudah terlalu banyak tempat makan
yang tersedia di daerah Surabaya Barat dan Oasis yang sebetulnya konsepnya
cukup ok, tetap terimbas.
When I went
here on a Sunday, some of the restaurant here are closed, not sure if it
permanent or just temporarily. The one that's quite a loss for me is the
closing of Spago amici, which is nicely portioned and moderately priced. Oasis
in itself in my view is quite nice, unfortunately there seems to be over supply
of eateries in west Surabaya which have quite an impact here.
