Wendy's Foei Gras & Lobster Burger

Biasanya kalau kita mendengar kata burger dan fastfood, pastinya yang terbayang makanan sederhana, cepat saji, yang cocok untuk sekedar mengisi perut saat istirahat siang. Nah supaya bisa tampil beda, ada satu gerai fastfood di Jepang yang lebay all the way, menyajikan Foei Gras dan Lobster dalam kemasan fast food burger, Wendy's di Jepang.

When we hear the word fast food and burger, usually we think of a measly grubs, a quick bite, just to fill the stomach during lunch break and such. In a change of pace, there's one fastfood chain that serves a really posh and luxury ingredients in a fast food joint, serving up Foei Gras and Lobster burgers, the Wendy's in Japan.

Burger Foei Gras (hati angsa) Rossini ini diambil dari nama menu masakan Perancis, yang merupakan sandwich dengan daging sapi potongan fillet mignon, foei gras (hati angsa) dan jamur truffle. Harganya 1280 Yen atau sekitar Rp 150.000. 

Mungkin kelihatan mahal, tapi mengingat harga menu foei gras di kebanyakan resto di Surabaya berkisar di atas Rp 300.000, termasuk satu yang dicoba briseis di hotel Marriott , Teriyaki Foei Gras, dihargai Rp 650.000 setelah tax.

This Foei Gras burger are name Rossini, from the Tournedos Rossini, an open-faced sandwich of butter-fried bread, filet mignon, foie gras, and truffles. This burger costs 12800 Yen, or about $16.

Might seems expensive for a burger, but considering Foei Gras dishes usually costs above Rp 300.000 in Surabaya, this burger is quite a bargain.

One of the example of dishes using Feoi Gras in Surabaya is the one that the co autor, brisseis, tried in Marriott Surabaya hotel, Foei Gras Teriyaki, which costs Rp 650.000 after tax.

Wendys Lobster Surf & Turf Burger , Premium Caviar & Lobster Sandwich

Menu mewah kedua dari Wendy's Jepang adalah dua jenis burger lobster. Pertama adalah Lobster Surf & Turf Burger, disusul dengan Premium Caviar & Lobster Sandwich. Daging lobster yang dipakai disediakan oleh Omar Lobster, yang diimpor dari Kanada.

Tersedia dalam pilihan burger saja, seharga 1280 Yen (Rp 150.000) atau paket dengan salad dengan daging lobster, seharga 1580 Yen (Rp 185.000)

The second luxury burger on their menu is the Surf & Turf Lobster burger and the Premium Caviar & Lobster Sandwich.

Both sandwiches feature Omar lobster meat imported from Canada.
There are two option for this burgers, stand alone at 1280 Yen ($16) or with a lobster salad for 1580 yen ($20)

Satu menu lagi yang menarik (meski tidak termasuk menu premium) ialah Burger Avocado dan Wasabi. Harganya lebih terjangkau, di 820 Yen atau sekitar Rp 95.000

Berhubung saya penggemar sushi, jadi saya termasuk gemar dengan rasa wasabi, jadi burger ini termasuk wajib dicoba untuk selera saya ^^

Demikianlah beberapa burger mewah dan lezat dari Wendys Jepang.

Rencananya pertengahan tahun depan (2013) saya akan wisata ke Jepang dengan beberapa teman, moga-moga sempat mencoba tiga burger ini di gerai Wendy's Jepang ^^

Untuk yang sudah ngiler (seperti saya ^^) dan ingin mengunjungi gerai wendy's lokal untuk tombo napsu, saat tulisan ini dibuat ada discount 25% untuk pembelian minimal Rp 100.000 menggunakan kartu kredit bank Mega.

Another interesting menu (though not in the premium menu) is the Wendy's Avocado & Wasabi burger. This burger cost a bit more modest at 820 Yen or $10.

I love Sushi, which means I am also a big fan of wasabi, so this one is also in my 'must try' list.

I scheduled going to Japan next year (2013) with a few friends, and hopefully I'll get to try and review this burgers in person.
