Solaris hotel ini lokasinya cukup unik, lokasinya berdekatan dengan toko bahan bangunan, tepat di pinggir jalan raya ke arah Lawang. Walau agak pinggir kota, tapi untuk ukuran kota Malang yang tidak terlampau besar, cukup mudah untuk berpergian dari sini ke pusat kota.
Hotel ini cukup nyaman untuk harga yang ditawarkan, desainnya menarik, sudah ada LCD TV, brankas dan kamar mandi yang ok. 

Keluhannya hanya satu, partisi dan jendelanya kurang memperhatikan kekedapan suara, jadi saat malam kadang masih terbangun karena suara klakson mobil.

This hotel is quite unique, it's located in one area with a big home depot like building material store, it's located near the main road to Lawang city.
Though the area is a bit on the edge of the city, Malang itself is not vast, so it's not a problem for me. A taxi ride to the city would costs about Rp 25.000, and there's some small restaurant and supermarket nearby.

This hotel is quite nice for the price, the design is minimalist, while still emphasizing on comfort, a 32" LCD TV is provided, and also a safe. The bathroom is also quite nice.
There's only one gripe I have, they didn't soundproof the room enough, so I was woken up a few times by the sound of moving vehicle outside.

Shower Area - Solaris Hotel Malang

Showernya ada separator, tidak seperti hotel Avira Hotel yang langsung bolong...rasanya sangat aneh kalau shower tanpa ada pembatas, sangat mengurangi kenyamanan. Di sini standard kamar mandinya cukup ok untuk ukuran hotel bisnis.

This hotel bathroom put a glass separator between the shower and general bathroom area, unlike those in Avira Hotel where the shower is just put there in the open. Those silly bathroom design without separator, like in Avira, really decrease the comfort level when using it.
