Carpentier is a quaint looking cafe, located near the city center. Just turn left upon seing this hotel Artotel in the corner and you'll find this cafe which doubles as a clothing store.

Selain kursi yang tidak ideal untuk berlama-lama, masalah suhu udara juga sempat terasa sedikit kurang optimal. Beberapa kali mengunjungi kafe serupa dengan tema outdoor di Bali dan Surabaya, mereka kadang menambahkan kipas angin seperti di Boncafe, atau Mist sprayer (penyemprot embun) untuk mengurangi suhu panas.
This cafe is nicely decorated, with vintage retro theme and dim lighting that would create a nice ambiance.
This place seems to put an emphasize on their look rather than comfort.
Aside from the chair, the outdoor place temperature need a bit of attention, whcih we found a bit hot during our visit. Some similar cafes would put a simple fan to aid cooling and some also provide misting system.

Walaupun tempat tidak senyaman kafe di mall, tapi urusan makanan, tempat satu ini termasuk unggul dibanding kafe sejenis. Dari segi harga termasuk standard mall, didukung dengan rasa yang cukup ok. Menu-nya juga sederhana, seperti pancake, burger, macaroni & Cheese, sehingga tidak ada kesan 'sekedar' makanan kafe yang biasanya hanya untuk pendamping minuman.
Though lacking in comfort, this place serves some nice food, in comparison to similar cafes. Price-wise it's standard is a bit above it peers, with a taste that isn't just run of the mill cafes. The dish are mostly simple, but it tastes ok.

Piilihan minumannya juga cukup enak, kita mencoba satu cappucino, ice tea (tidak difoto) dan susu. Penampilan susunya menarik, ditaruh di dalam wadah botol ala milk bottle jadul, diberi sedotan. Penyuguhannya menarik, untuk kopinya juga cukup cantik, bisa dilihat di foto berikut
The beverage options are equally nice, we tried their Cappuccino, ice tea and milk. I like how they serve their beverage, the milk is put in an old retro stlye milk bottle, which you can easily drink using straw.
While the coffee though simple and aptly named Nescafe Cofee, the presentation is quite nice.

Overall cukup lumayan, tapi tidak istimewa. Tempatnya unik dan menarik, sayang panas dan kursinya kurang nyaman untuk berlama-lama ngafe.
Masalah pelayanan juga perlu mendapat perhatian lebih, ada beberapa pengalaman yang kurang mengenakkan di kafe satu ini.
Overall it's okay, but there's room for improvement. The decor is unique and attractive, unfortunately it's not comfortable for a cafe, the chair could use an improvement in comfort area.
The service are also not so good, there are some problems I encountered on my visit here, hospitality related.
