Mie Ujung Pandang, mie haram nan lezat ini adalah salah satu menu favorit untuk masyarakat Surabaya. Kali ini saya beramai-ramai ke sini setelah kopdar dengan teman-teman UK Petra di Kopi O Sutos. 


Ujung Panjang Noodle is a chinese style pork and chicken noodle. It's an egg based, yellow noodle, with loads of chopped red pork and white chicken meat, along with soup.

Pilihan tempat makan yang satu ini berasal dari diskusi panel para penggemar Mie Ujung Pandang di grup Kuliner FB. Dari awalnya di sana, sampai berlanjut di page alumni UKP. Mie Ujung Pandang di RMI, Kedungdoro dan Mayjend Sungkono sempat diperbandingkan hingga akhirnya sampai pada pilihan untuk mencoba di daerah Surabaya Timur.
Alkisah pilihan terakhir antara di sini dan RMI, yang dengar-dengar pemiliknya sama.

This time we decided to try the one in East Surabaya, and the last choice is either RMI or Arif Rahman Hakim stall.

Warung satu ini termasuk salah satu favorit di Surabaya, porsinya juga banyak, memuaskan. Salah satu sebab kita memilih warung satu ini adalah karena teman-teman setelah melihat post tentang Mie Ujung Pandang HD berujar kalau porsinya termasuk kecil untuk standard mie UP. Setelah melihat sendiri porsinya mie UP di sini baru ngeh, ternyata begini to porsi mie UP

Ada dua jenis porsi yang ditawarkan, terlepas dari pilihan dagingnya. Porsi standar harganya Rp 24.000 sedangkan porsi besar Rp 25.000, berhubung harganya hanya beda sedikit, teman-teman saya semua memesan ukuran jumbo.


This small spartan eatery is one of the favorite in Surabaya, succulant pig and delicious noodle, with big portion that would satisfy any foodie. We ended up choosing a street food vendor wanting to sample the big portion, in comparison to the small size in the eatery I tried earlier here : Mie Ujung Pandang HD 

Here they served two option of portion, the standard size priced Rp 24.000 where the jumbo portion is Rp 25.000. We ended up ordering the jumbo portion.
