Simple Chinese Dish

Depot Bedjo - Salah satu depot yang menjadi favorit beberapa teman saya. Lokasinya di jalan Dharmahusada / Prof Dr Moestopo, satu jalan dengan nasi udang Bu Rudy.

This small eatery sells Chinese Food, some of my friends are avid fans of the place. It's located in the Dharmahusada / Prof Dr Moestopo street

Tempat makannya khas depot lama di Surabaya, sederhana dengan ciri kursi lipat dan peralatan makan tersedia di wadah merah atas meja.


The dining area is what you'd typically get in restaurants in the 90's, which some traits include the use of folding chairs and the cutleries are served in a red canister at the table.

Sesuai dengan temanya, menu yang dihidangkan pun juga sesuai. Kweitauw, Fuyunghai, Kolokee dan menu-menu standard resto Cina di Surabaya bisa ditemui di sini. Rasanya juga lumayan enak, dengan porsi yang cukup besar, terutama bila dibandingkan standard Chinese Restaurant di mall-mall yang semakin lama semakin mini.




Just as you can already guess, the menu here is classic Chinese Cuisine in Surabaya, such as Kwetiauw - Horfun, Kolokee - chicken with sour & sweet sauce, Fuyunghai - crab omelet.
The food we tried tastes quite nice, with big portion, which is quite a rarity in modern Chinese Restaurants in malls that serves dainty portions.
