Tiap kali butuh ke ibu kota Jakarta, buat saya terasa berat karena suasana hiruk pikuk, macet dan tidak nyaman. Salah satu penghiburannya adalah saat bisa mencoba lounge-lounge di bandara.

Tempatnya di tengah antara terminal 1b dan 1c Bandara Soekarno Hatta.


I sometime need to go to Jakarta for a business errand, and each time is a drag, because the city is quite hectic. On the positive side though, I get the chance to try their many selections of airport lounge.

This lounge is located in the middle of terminal 1b and 1c in Soekarno Hatta Airport / Cengkareng.

Lokasinya cukup unik, alih-alih berada di dalam terimnal, posisinya ada di luar. Jadi untuk ke sini tidak perlu harus memasuki terminal dahulu. Tapi untuk bisa memakai fasilitas lounge-nya tetap butuh menunjukkan tiket pesawat.


The place is a bit odd for an airport lounge, it's located outside the terminal, which means you can get to the place without airplane ticket. You'd need to present your ticket to use the facility though.

Tarifnya di sini untuk pelanggan umum adalah sebesar Rp 85.000, saat itu saya memakai salah satu kartu kredit yang memberi fasilitas masuk lounge gratis.

It costs Rp 85.000 to enjoy the lounge facility if you're not using any offers, at the time I got in for free, using credit card perks.

Coffee Maker - Jakarta Blue Sky Lounge

Sayangnya mesin kopi di sini tidak sebagus yang di Blue Sky Surabaya. Mesin kopi yang di Surabaya memakai mesin espresso sederhana dari Excelso, sedangkan yang di sini kelihatannya menggunakan mesin kopi Nesscafe Alegria yang sepengetahuan saya menyajikan kopi instan.




Too bad the coffee machine here isn't as good as the one in Blue Sky Surabaya. The coffee maker in Surabaya uses the simple espresso machine provided by Excelso, though not quite as good as their cafe's brew, it's still makes a decent tasting cappucino. Whereas this one uses a coffee dispenser, Nescafe Alegria, which seems to make instant coffee instead of espresso based coffee.

Rasa makanannya standard lounge, termasuk biasa, tidak terlalu istimewa, tapi plating-nya cantik. Tatanannya cukup rapi dan tempatnya yang nyaman menjadi salah satu daya tarik. They serve ordinary lounge food, nothing stands out but the plating were nice. The neatness and comfortable place along with a good service are a plus for this place.
