Daily Sweets adalah salah satu kafe yang berorientasi pada hidangan dessert nan manis. Dahulu sempat banyak kafe serupa di mall, seperti Gelato dan Gelare, tapi beberapa tahun terakhir ini banyak berguguran, yang masih bertahan adalah kafe konvensional dengan menu minuman kopi sebagai daya tarik utama.
Salah satu pengisi kekosongan itu adalah Kafe Daily Sweet ini.
Lokasinya terletak di G-Walk, yang sebelumnya ditempati Hare & Hatter. H&H sendiri saat ini masih bisa ditemui di Sutos dan ada juga di CW, dalam satu venue dengan Kirkos.

Daily Sweet is one of the dessert oriented Cafe, there used to be abundant of similar options in Surabaya. For examples are Gelato and Gelare cafe, which is now closed. Surabaya hadn't been friendly to this kind of cafes. Meanwhile coffee based cafe are still standing strong, albeit using credit card discounts and other promotions to keep business up.

This Daily Sweet Cafe is filling the void left by those desserts cafe, located in western Surabaya area, G-Walk. Their place is previously used by Hare & Hatter cafe, which you can still find in Sutos Mall, and Ciputra World mall, in CW it's residing inside Kirkos Bar.

Sesuai namanya yang Daily Sweet, hidangan dessert dan cake di sini menurut saya memang lebih ok dibandingkan main course-nya. Rasanya manis, lembut. Mi Cuit nya cukup enak. Souflenya tidak termasuk favorit kita, tapi tetap bisa dinikmati.

True to it's name, Daily Sweet, the desserts and cakes are best, we liked it more than the main course. The Mi Cuit are rich and creamy, while not overbearingly sweet. The Souffle are a bit bellow our expectation, but it's still enjoyable.

Daily Sweet - Egg Benedict - Rp 36.000

Menu makanannya lumayan, harganya pun tidak terlampau tinggi. Yang menjadi daya tarik utama di sini memang hidangan cake dan dessert, jadi tidak heran kalau egg benedictnya masih kalah memuaskan dibandingkan menu daily degustation-nya.

The dishes served here tastes quite decent, and priced accordingly. The creme de la creme here is, of course the desserts and cakes, which is no wonder that we were more satisfied sampling their Daily Degustation menu compared to the Egg Benedict.

Nachos (Simply Dessert) - Rp 31.000

Suasana kafenya cocok untuk kaum hawa, suasananya dibuat warna warni dengan banyak hiasan bunga. Kesan desain yang feminim sembari sedikit muda, cocok untuk hang out mahasiswa dan kawula muda. Di saat saya berkunjung, ada meja sebelah yang mengadakan pesta. Untuk saya sendiri yang saat itu sedang dating, suasananya sedikit terlalu...cute & dainty.

The cafe is decorated colorfully, with loads of faux flower and knick knacks. Girls and those who are feminine and young at heart would be pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. When I visited the place there's a small group of ladies with lavishly decorated table holding a small party. For my taste, this is a bit to cute and dainty, not the best option for dating scene, unless you're really attuned with your feminine side.
