Dishes we tried on Jiuzhaigou Trip
|
Buffalo on the side of road - Jiuzhaigou |
Jiuzhaigou is reachable by air from Chengdu City, it has quite a peculiar cuisine, with a mix of Tibetan
influenced dish, which are mostly simple along with Sichuan cuisine which is elaborate and uses a lot of spices.

Jiuzhaigou - herbal chicken soup |
|
Jiuzhaigou- rice bucket |
This wooden bucket for rice is certainly distinctive, I've never
seen one used before on my trips to China. Probably a typical occurrence for
the natives, but is sure makes some of use queasy, since it reminded us
something you'd use in the lavatory x_x

Jiuzhaigou - minced chicken dish |
Berikut beberapa foto
berminyak.
This are some shots of the food we tried.
It's still quite a far cry from our old time favorites from Guangzhou and
Hongkong, for us Indonesian group. But it easily beats the dishes we used to
have in Beijing and surrounding area where the food
are bland and quite oily.
