Kali ini posting untuk penggemar soto ayam, di daerah Timur ada beberapa tempat penjual soto yang tersohor, salah satunya Cak Har di Merr.

This time it's another post about Surabaya beloved soup dish, Soto. It's a chicken soup with plenty of spices and oil, it's a bit heavy for a soup, and usually consumed as main dish instead of starters.

There's a popular Soto seller in East Surabaya, soto Cak Har, and this one is a good alternative in case you've tried the other.

Soto Cak Muin lokasinya ada di ujung jalan klampis, jln Arief Rahman Hakim yang menuju arah Wisma Mukti, persis di tikungan yang ada di tikungan. Tempatnya tidak susah untuk dicari, parkirnya pun cukup mudah.

Soto Cak Muin is located in the end of Klampis Road, on the corner of home office, in Arief Rahman Hakim street. It's easy to find and the parking is similarly easy to access.

Tempat makannya tidak luas, tapi tatanan mejanya juga tidak sempit, cukup nyaman untuk ukuran depot, walau tidak bakal cocok untuk yang ingin ngobrol lama.

The dining area isn't large at all, but with this kind of diner seating, the place doesn't feel cramped. It's quite comfy for a diner kind of place, but really isn't suitable for hanging out.

Saya sendiri bukan penggemar berat soto, jadi tidak bisa secara detail membahas beda satu gerai soto dan lainnya. Kalau selera pribadi, soto di sini cukup enak, tidak terlalu berminyak dan berat, tapi tetap mantap untuk ukuran soto Surabaya.

I'm not really an avid fans of the dish, so I can't comment much about the subtle differences between proprietors. For me personally this dish tastes quite nice, not too oily and heavy, but still hearthy enough as a comfort food.
