Siang ini kita mencoba resto seafood baru di Manyar Kertoarjo V, satu lokasi dengan Bonet swalayan dan Boncafe. Tempatnya lumayan menarik dan modern desainnya.
Walau live seafood jadi andalan, tempatnya amat bersih, tidak ada lalat bertebaran karena tempat penangkaran ikannya terpisah.

Huang Table is a newly opened restaurant in Manyar Kertoarjo V street, which is famous for a culinary destination spot. The place is quite interesting, with modern design.
Though live seafood is their signature dishes, the eatery in considerably clean since they put the fish tanks on secluded room.

Untuk mengakali nuansa bersih tapi tetap ada hidangan laut yang dalam keadaan hidup, di lantai satu nya ada TV LCD yang menampilkan akuariumnya. Bisa melihat sendiri stok kerapu, kepiting dan banyak makanan laut lainnya.

Though they seperate the live seafood from their dining area, they still provide customer with a glimpse of their fishbowl. Through a live cctv feed, displayed on the LCD TV in the dining area.

Gurame (Rp 70.000)

Gurame Saus Thailand (Rp 70.000)
Olahan Guramenya cukup enak, yang favorit adalah gurame saus thailand ini. Rasanya mirip dengan saus asam manis, tapi lebih kecut dan nendang rasanya. Beda dengan gurame yang biasanya difillet kecil, di sini daging guramenya diolah dalam kondisi masih cukup besar filletnya dan menyatu, serta tepungnya hanya tipis membalut daging guramenya.


They got some nice carp dishes, my favorite being the one cooked with Thai Sauce. It tastes a bit like sour and sweet sauce, but with brighter taste and a bit of spiciness.
Usually with this kind of dish the fish are filleted in small pieces, but this dish are made with whole fish fillet instead of little pieces.


Huang Table - Cumi Sambal Goreng (Rp 39.500)
Selain hidangan ikan dan kepitingnya, favorit kita adalah Cumi Sambal Goreng ini. Digoreng kering hingga terasa seperti kerupuk, dengan sambal yang rasanya menggigit. Cocok dimakan dengan nasi putih.

Our other favorite dish, apart from the fish and crab, is this calamari with fried sambal. It's deep fried until crunchy, with spicy and bold tasting sauce. Love having them with a bowl of rice.

Nasi Goreng di sini rasanya masih belum konsisten. Saat hari mencoba makanan, rasa nasi gorengnya cukup enak, tapi hari berikutnya saya datang ke sini lagi dengan keluarga, dan rasa nasi gorengnya agak kurang ok. Rasanya terlalu hambar dan cara masaknya kurang kering, tidak terasa seenak resto Cina lain. Yang di atas ini adalah foto saat food tasting.


We have mixed feeling about the fried rice. The first day on the food tasting event, it tasted quite nice. Despite that, the day after I came here again with my family, and the fried rice weren't that great tasting. A bit bland and the cooking method seems to be different from other Chinese eatery. I'd opt for a white rice and just order the seafood on my next visit.

Rasa masakan chinese-nya relatif standard, agak kontras kalau dibandingkan seafoodnya yang diolah cukup enak.  Saya lebih rekomen kalau ke sini langsung pesan olahan seafoodnya saja ditemani nasi. Kalau untuk masakan Cinanya masih banyak alternatif yang lebih menarik.

While their seafood dishes tastes nice, the Chinese dishes were uninspiring. There are plenty of other better tasting and bigger portioned Chinese Restaurant, right along the same street. My recommendation is to eat here just for their seafood dishes, which rivals other established restaurant in the area.

Ayam Goreng Mentega
Kita sempat mencicipi semua makanan kecuali yang ayam goreng mentega ini, hanya sempat memfoto lalu lenyap di meja foodies lainnya, jadi tidak bisa komen banyak tentang bagaimana rasanya. Kalau melihat tampilannya sih kelihatan cukup menarik.

We did manage to try most of the food presented here, except for this butter fried chicken. I only managed to take this shot, and soon it was cleaned by the foodies on another table. Hence I can't comment on this one except for saying that it does looks like a nice dish.



Huang Table - Kepiting Black Pepper (32-40rb/ons)
Hidangan Kepiting di sini rata-rata beratnya sekitar 500 gram, jadi porsinya cukup besar, dan rata-rata kepitingnya berkisar di harga Rp 200.000 - 250.000. Cukup memuaskan dan rasanya lezat.

Their crab dishes here are mostly about 500 gram, so it's quite well portioned and inexpensive. Each dishes are priced at about Rp 200.000 - Rp 250.000. It's quite filling and tasty
