Seperti yang saya ulas sebelumnya, kita mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menginap di hotel Sheraton setelah memenangkan undian di acara pembukaan Kawi Lounge.

Setelah membahas tentang Sheraton Club di post minggu lalu, kali ini saya membahas pengalaman menikmati menginap di Club Room Sheraton.

As you may have read before, we got a chance to stay in this lovely Sheraton hotel, having won a prize in Kawi Lounge grand opening event.

After I've posted about the Sheraton Club last week, this time I'm going to share my experience staying in their lovely Club Room.

French Press in the Club Room

Letak kamarnya ada di lantai 27, walaupun Surabaya tidak banyak gedung bertingkat, pemandangan kota dari lantai tinggi tetap menarik, dengan segala ciri khasnya.

The room is located in the 27'th floor, we did get a good vantage point of the city. Albeit Surabaya doesn't have the glitzy tall building like Jakarta or Singapore, it does have it's own quaint attractiveness.

Ukuran Kamarnya tidak jauh berbeda dengan kamar standard, sedikit lebih lega dan ada beberapa pernak pernik di kamar yang mungkin lebih premium dibandingkan kamar standardnya.

The room size is not that much different from the standard, though it's a bit more roomy, and I think there are some little perks not available in the standard room.

Hadiah menginap dari pembukaan Kawi Lounge ini bebas bisa dipakai hingga bulan Mei, jadi saya tepatkan dengan hari ultah Enni di bulan April supaya bisa staycation dan foto-foto di hari istimewa tersebut.

The complimentary room prize from Kawi Lounge opening can be used until May, so I used them to celebrate Enni's birthday on April to make it more commemorable

Amenities minuman kopi dan teh di sini lebih spesial dibandingkan standard hotel lainnya, karena adanya french press, biji kopi yang segar dan Dilmah Tea, semuanya menurut saya cukup premium dibandingkan standard hotel lainnya.

Their beverage amenites consists of tea and coffee like any other hotels, but it feels quite premium. The coffee bean were pretty nice, and they use upscale Dilmah Tea, which adds to the quality of our stay considerably.

Sheraton Surabaya - Stainless Steel French Press

Yang menarik buat saya adalah french press nya, saya biasanya jarang sekali suka dengan french press (terutama yang dari gelas) tapi di sini ada french press stainless steel yang kokoh.

Biji kopinya pun cukup enak, tidak seperti standard hotel lain yang biasanya hanya menyediakan kopi instan yang rasanya ga karuan.

What interesting to me is their french press, I usually despise using french press for my coffee brewing, but this time it's a solid built french press, made of stainless steel.

The taste is somewhat different to their glass counterpart, and I liked it.

The coffee bean supplied is also quite tasty, a welcomed change from the usual stale instant coffee provided in other hotels.

Kamar mandinya juga cukup menarik dan luas. Ada dua tempat terpisah antara shower dan bath tub, kalau ada anggota keluarga atau teman seperjalanan yang ingin berlama-lama berendam tidak jadi masalah karena yang dikejar waktu bisa memakai showernya.

Bathroom was also nice, you get a separated area for the bathtub and shower. If you have a family member or travel-mate who loves to soak for hours in the bath tub, this place would suit your need, since their soaking enjoyment wouldn't hamper your schedule much with the second shower available.

Berhubung yang ultah masih status pacar, akhirnya malam hari terpaksa pulang dengan membawa bouquet, kamar yang luas itupun cukup dinikmati sendirian

The birthday girl didn't get permission to stay, so she had to go home for the night, carrying the lovely bouquet, and I get to enjoy the room for myself the whole night
