Di Surabaya ada beberapa bakso terkenal, di barat sendiri ada beberapa, termasuk bakso rindu malam dan bakso malam Pak To, tapi untuk selera kita, hanya ada satu yang wajib dijadikan langganan, bakso Cak Min di kompleks ruko Hokky.

Bakso is one of Surabaya's favorite street food, and there are some popular ones in Western Surabaya area, such as Bakso Rindu Malam and Bakso Malam Pak To. For us who lives in Eastern part of the city, there's only one Bakso that lure us to drive an hour for it, Bakso Cak Min.

Bakso Cak Min Hokky Surabaya

 Yang terkenal dari tempat bakso ini adalah bakso kejunya, ada juga yang lebih suka dengan bakso telor puyuh, yang lebih umum bisa ditemui di penjual bakso lain.

Rasa Bakso Kejunya mirip-mirip bakso isi telur puyuh, karena sudah bercampur kuah dan dalam kondisi panas, rasa kejunya tidak terlalu kuat, tapi sensasi makannya menarik.

What makes this place famous is the cheese filled bakso. Their quail eggs bakso are also popular, despite being a common feature in any other bakso seller.

The Cheese filled bakso is a bit similar to the quail egg ones, in term of taste. Since it's hot and there's a lot of sauce, I don't really taste the cheese part, but it's still an interesting taste and sensation.
