Gong Hey Fat Choy
That's a cantonese
(Hong Kong) version of Gong Xi Fa Cai, which means Happy Chinese New Year.
To accompany you guys
on this festive occasion, allow me to share the story of CNY (Chinese New Year)
feast held in Sheraton Surabaya's Lung Yuan restaurant.
Yee Shang being prepared
Lokasi Lung Yuan ada di
lantai dua / mezzanine hotel Sheraton.
Tempatnya comfy dan
private.
spesial.
Lung
Yuan is located in the second floor / mezzanine in Sheraton Hotel Surabaya.
It feels
both comfortable and exclusive. There's a private room you can reserve for
special occasion in the right side of the restaurant.

Here you can see video and picture of
Yusheng, a dish eaten during the Chinese New Year feast.
If you're unfamiliar with the dish, here's an excerpt from Wikipedia :
If you're unfamiliar with the dish, here's an excerpt from Wikipedia :
Yusheng, yee sang or yuu sahng (Chinese: 魚生; pinyin: yúshēng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: hî-seⁿ or hû-siⁿ),
or Prosperity Toss, also known as lo hei (Cantonese
for 撈起 or 捞起) is a Teochew-style raw fish salad. It usually consists
of strips of raw fish (sometimes salmon),
mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among
other ingredients. Yusheng literally means "raw fish" but since
"fish (魚)" is commonly
conflated with its homophone "abundance (余)", Yúshēng (魚生) is interpreted as a homophone for
Yúshēng (余升) meaning an
increase in abundance. Therefore, yusheng is considered a symbol of abundance,
prosperity and vigor.
While versions of it are thought to
have existed in China, the contemporary version was created and popularised[citation
needed] in the 1960s amongst the ethnic Chinese community
and its consumption has been associated with Chinese New Year festivities
in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.
Semakin tinggi Yusheng
berantakan
The higher you stir
the Yee sang, the higher your prosperity will be in the following year.
While there's no telling what the future hold, you'd surely get a messy table if you're doing it in similar way demonstrated in the video

Hidangan menarik berikutnya adalah Lontong Cap Go Mek yang ditata cantik, kalau
masalah rasa memang tidak sampai istimewa, tapi penyajiannya amat menarik.
If you've been to
this place, I bet you'd be salivating looking at the photos. Every dish we
tried tastes great, and it's mostly classic Chinese dish with few exceptions.
The Stuffed Whole
Chicken is more of a western or fusion / peranakan dish, so it's quite rare to
see one in a Chinese Restaurant. The dish tastes great though, it's start
different to similar ones I tried on other restaurant, which meat tastes rather
sour in comparison.
Another interesting
dish is the Lontong Cap Go Mek. It's a dish made a few weeks after Chinese New
Year, and it's a peranakan dish. Taste-wise I kinda feel it's nothing special,
but the plating is gorgeous
