Changi T2 Foodcourt - Straits Food Village
Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh, Straits Food - Changi Terminal 2 |
Tahun lalu di Changi T2 ada sebuah
tempat makan berupa food court baru.
Changi T2 Kopitiam
Last year there's a new food court called Straits Food Village in Changi Terminal 2.
This is a welcomed change, since I wasn't that fond of the previous food court in T2, which you can read about here : http://www.foodgrapher.com/2016/06/changi-terminal-2-food-court-tiger-air.html

I'd usually opt to come out of immigration to the Land
Side, and then visiting the staff canteen, which is now called T2 Kopitiam

Paginya
saya makan paginya Sandwich di Subway.
On this particular trip, I brought a lot of luggage,
and found traversing out to Land Side were a hassle. So I stayed inside air
side, even slept on the Oasis lounge, since it was a long layover.
Afterwards at the early morning I had a Subway
sandwich for breakfast earlier.

walau skeptis apa bakal enak.

For lunch, I was a bit peckish, needing something
heftier than a sandwich.
I ended up going to the new food court, albeit not having any high hopes due to my experience with the previous food court.

Back then, the process for ordering is quite ordinary.
You visit the stall you fancy, get a bill, and pay that bill on the cashier.

This time they set a new modern way of ordering food.
You first find out what you want, either by looking a the digital menu or visiting the stalls.
Afterwards you just need to order on the digital
kiosk, and pay using either NETS card (which you uses to pay subway / bus
fare), credit card or cash.

Changi T2 Straits Food - Roasted Duck (S$7) |
Saya coba hidangan bebek panggang

I tried the duck here, and found it at least on par
with the staff canteen dishes. Which is big compliment for this kind of stall.
Price-wise I think it's also very affordable.
You'd get this around S$4-S$6 outside Changi / on staff canteen, where as here, you can have it for just S$7. Pretty darn cheap for an airport
