Zangrandi baru saja membuka gerai baru di jln Polisi Istimewa (ex Pipe & Barrel) dan kita diundang untuk mencoba lunch beramai-ramai di sini bersama beberapa foodies surabaya

Zangrandi has just opened their new eatery in Polisi Istimewa street (ex Pipe & Barrel) and we, along with other foodies were invited for lunch here.

Zangrandi Macedonia - Strawberry

Menu yang paling populer di kalangan teman saya adalah Macedonia. Campuran es krim (biasanya vanilla, coklat atau strawberry) dengan liquor, yang kemungkinan besar berjenis Rum.
Buat pelanggan lama, ada yang komen Rumnya sudah beda dengan jaman old yang lebih ngangenin 🤭

One of their most popular ice cream is Macedonia, a mixture of classic tasting ice cream with liquor. Most likely the liquor used is Rum.
When I ask the old customers, they say the rum here are different nowadays, preferring the old one's bolder taste.

Menu makanan di sini bisa dibilang mirip dengan rata-rata kafe lain yang tersebar di Surabaya. Bisa untuk alternatif makan yang lumayan, tapi tidak sampai bikin pingin kembali khusus untuk masakannya. Mayoritas return customer bakal ke sini karena es krimnya yang tersohor sejak lama.

Nothing much that I can write about the food here. It's on par with those run of the mill cafes you'd find in Surabaya Malls.

Regular clienteles of this establishment would probably come back here for their ice cream instead of the food, which is passable for a quick lunch, but nothing special

Zangrandi Surabaya

Selain Zangrandi, Surabaya ada satu lagi Ice Cream parlor legendaris, De Boliva.

Lokasinya dahulu ada di Raya Gubeng, sekarang sudah pindah di Ruko San Antonio di Surabaya Timur dan Apartment Waterplace di Barat. Lebih suka mana, bakal tergantung selera.

Di bawah ini alternatif macedonia-nya Zangrandi di Boliva, Marinelli Kahlua Ice Cream, dengan Kahlua coffee liquor.

Apart from Zangrandi, Surabaya have another legendary ice cream parlor that have been serving great ice cream for decades, de Boliva.

It used to be opened in Raya Gubeng street, but nowadays can be found in Ruko San Antonio in the East, and Apartment Waterplace in West Surabaya.
